Samsung's new SGH-T139 for T-Mobile is just what you'd expect it to be. As a VGA camera phone with a standard flip design, it offers basic features and little style. Yet, since that's really the whole point, we're not going to complain. Comfortable...
The Samsung SGH-T139 has an easy-to-use design, decent call quality, and functional features like Bluetooth.
The Samsung SGH-T139's external display doesn't show us much, and there's no video recording.
The Samsung SGH-T139 doesn't promise much, but it serves its purpose as a low-end phone for making calls.

I bought this to use while my T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 is being exchanged (bad charger port). I am on a no contract plan - just needed a phone to tide me over until I get the Nokia back, Since I am using the same phone number, the spam problem is not...
Decent call quality, reasonably fast texting, camera adequate for taking wallpaper shots. Decent sound.
None off the top - very basic phone Would prefer a generic USB connection for charging, but since my wife has a Samsung Tracfone with the same connector, this is not an issue for me. Could be for other users, so I will mention it.

I purchased this Samsung T139 phone from Wal-Mart for $30 with a $10 pay-as-you-go prepaid card for the sole purpose of getting stock alerts from my broker via tmomail.com. Within a minute of the purchase, I got a spam call right inside the store even...
Long battery life, keyboard lights up, camera is OK, can receive e-mails sent as text messages through phonenumber@tmomail.com
Recycled phone number gets endless spam calls right from day one, limited number blocking capacity, limited reception range, confusing menu, terrible website and even more terrible customer service.

I am going to every site I can to review this phone. Truly AWFUL.
The camera works, blocks calls.
Slow to send texts, slow to receive texts, call quality is HORRENDOUS, and the internet....doesn't go to many sites (keeps giving "lack of adequate memory" messages), and what is with the website block????? What am I, 12? Taking a hammer to it.

Consumer review (newegg.com)
The box says T mobile all over, may be it will work on T mobile's network better?
None, description says it works on At&t, it does not work
Will not work on At&t network, called At&t, on hold for hours only to find that the phone will not work on At&t ; Description is a misleading, it says the phone will work on At&t network ; It will not download or send text messages
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Good sound quality, lots of features for a simple phone, convenient size for carrying in a pocket
Blue tooth connects OK but fails to reconnect most of the time, texting defaults to T9 mode, battery only lasts 48-72 hrs with minimum talking
