The Samsung Moment gives Android a much-needed boost with its 800 MHz processor, but its interface remains pretty basic.
Fastest U.S. Android phone yet. AMOLED screen has rich colors. Very usable keyboard.
Dull software. Sluggish camera. Somewhat clunky.
Conclusions Ultimately, the Samsung Moment comes off as a bit of a beefy geek phone. There are 10,000 apps in the Android Market, and an 800 MHz processor and OLED screen offer the best way to enjoy them so far. But the Hero and CLIQ do more out of the...

Review of the features and design of the Samsung Moment. There were some hiccups when the phone was released but a new software version has corrected a number of the issues, unfortunately a brick-like design cannot be corrected by a software update.

Sprint's second Android-based smartphone, the Samsung Moment, features a 3.2-inch AM-OLED screen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an optical joystick, fast processor, and Wi-Fi. Jen Edwards brings us a review.
Gorgeous AM-OLED display, Exceptional call quality, Easy to use, with a great user interface, Good keyboard
A little larger than many other phones, Only a 3.2 megapixel camera

I purchased this phone from Sprint in December 2010. At first I loved the phone and the new features it had compared to my last phone, but found that other phones had more features than this one. The phone is also not compatible with the Sprint...
Takes good pictures
Low battery life and doesn't notify you of missed calls and texts with a light

I got my phone on the same day as my brother. His has worked great, but mine has been full of issues from day one, and I've had it 2-3 months now.
Everything that works, works well, Keyboard, Screen is pretty bright. Internet loads
Bulky, screen is finiky on calls, internet problems, GPS is really testy, programming

I snatched this phone up pretty early, against my better judgement. I like how it feels in my hand, and apps run smoothly and quickly. Internet is pretty fast as well. The screen is nice and bright, and responds well to touch input. Physically the...

I use this phone on the Sprint network and I held out for a long time before making the switch to a smart phone because I was really holding out for an iPhone, but I did not want to switch carriers. After losing hope that AT&T and iPhone would stop...
I would definitely recommend this phone. 5 Stars
Buy the car charger so you're always covered

My wife and I both work for Sprint, although in my wife's case, I should say "worked." She was laid off at the end of December (three days ago) and I will be laid off at the end of January (28 days from now). C'est la vie... we knew when we accepted...
Excellent reception; nice speakerphone; bright, clear screen; logical controls; slide-out
Touch screen is a little fussy; voice quality is average; non-standard USB connector

I recently got an upgrade to my phone through my carrier Sprint and just fell in love with the whole phone. I liked how it combined a lot of features I couldnt get through my last phone. You can access the internet and even Facebook on the browser. It...
