The Samsung Gravity TXT is today's quintessential texting phone, although several noticeable flaws hold it back from true greatness.
Roomy QWERTY keyboard. Includes 3G, GPS, and (finally) a real headphone jack.
Finicky trackpad. Needs extra function keys underneath the screen in landscape mode. Weak speakerphone. T-Mobile blocks Internet access on third-party apps.
Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions There's a standard-size 3.5mm headphone jack on top, which is a huge improvement over the proprietary microUSB jack the Gravity 3 had. There's also 115MB of free internal storage, which is a slight bump from the...

At this point, you'd think that there were almost as many Samsung Gravity phones as there are handsets in the company's Galaxy line. All right, we're exaggerating just a bit, but the Gravity Txt is, in fact, the sixth such device for T-Mobile. First we...
The Samsung Gravity Txt has a functional feature set and admirable call quality.
The Samsung Gravity Txt isn't the best phone for an optical joystick. Though the QWERTY keyboard is spacious, the buttons are stiff and the placement of some shortcut controls is disorienting.
We didn't love everything about its design, but as an inexpensive, easy-to-use cell phone for making calls, the Samsung Gravity Txt gets the job done.

Samsung's Gravity line has exploded in the last year to encompass a wide array of handset categories, thanks partly to the introduction of the Android platform to the family, but it appears that it's going back to its roots for their latest...

This phone is barely worth what I paid for it ($0). If I had it to do over again, I'd pay the extra $50 for the Huwai (almost a smart phone but doesn't require a data plan). When it works, it's all I really need. Unfortunately, it doesn't perform the...
I didn't want a smart phone, and this was about the only other choice. Qwerty keyboard is easier to use than 10 key pad for texting.
Ok, where do I start. It shuts itself off randomly (at least a couple of times a week). Sometimes things like alarms quit working until I reboot it (once every couple of weeks). The touchpad is a pain.

This is my 4th phone, one original and three replacements, all in a four month period. None have worked well and my latest one still just turns itself off for no reason. Every one of the phones have had keyboard issues of keys frequently not working....
Small size
Keyboard keys frequently don't work. Frequent loss of connection. Constantly just turns itself off.
