Samsung Gravity T - steel (T-Mobile) review

The Samsung Gravity brand has changed quite a bit since its debut in 2008 as a simple messaging phone for T-Mobile . As further incarnations came along, the Gravity handset improved--the Gravity 2 added 3G and GPS, while the Gravity 3 has a slightly...

The Samsung Gravity T is good-looking touch-screen messaging phone with nice interface elements like TouchWiz widgets, a Command bar of shortcuts, an etiquette pause, and more. It has a decent set of multimedia features, 3G, and great call quality.

The Samsung Gravity T's keyboard is a bit flatter than we would like.

The Samsung Gravity T is overall a great messaging phone option for those who want a full touch-screen experience combined with a simple yet functional multimedia feature set.

Samsung Gravity T Review

Samsung has added three new phones to their Gravity lineup, and the Gravity T leads the way. The T in this case stands for “Touch,” referring to the phone's 2.8” QVGA touchscreen display. Other features of this mid-range 3G featurephone include a 2...

Review: Samsung Gravity T

Samsung tries to bridge basic messaging with touchscreens.

Good call quality ; Above average Google Maps implementation ; Capable keyboard ; Solid construction

Mediocre touchscreen ; Poor web use ; Average camera for the class ; Headphones limited to micro USB ; No threaded text messaging ; Gesture unlocking not effective

Design, call quality and battery lifeThe Gravity T features a side-slider design and a very solid construction. We have tested many phones that feel wobbly when sliding open, and the Gravity T is thankfully not one of them. When slid open, the

Great Texting Phone

All in all it's a lovely phone for people who just want to text or call people. For those who want to play games, listen to music, or use the internet, it's not the ideal phone.

Long Battery Life Easy to text people Easy to call

Pictures aren't the best (Expected for this type of phone )Even if your finger's only slightly wet, touchscreen won't respond Keys are flat. Takes a while to delete items

After one year, it hardly works.

When I first got it a year ago, I was very happy with it. It worked splendidly, with just a little lag (as expected), for a month. Then it began to slow down, and the screen started to deteriorate. Now, the center of the screen is warped, and responds...

Gets the basics down Keyboard easy to use High calling quality Okay camera (+ image editing) Long battery life (3-4 days if you don't use it often)

Horrible screen Lag Broke easily Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't Very soft vibrate

"Slow and laggy."

This phone was given to me by a co-worker simply because he didn't need it, and I was still using the Samsung Comeback(a 3 year old phone) and was craving something new. I love Samsung phones, and was super excited to test it out. Honestly, I'm ready...

3 customisable home screens, custom alert sounds, individual contact profiles

Laggy, freezes regularly, SLOW, SLOW, SLOW, missed call notification will not go away until you've called that # back(this is an issue with every Samsung I've owned and I HATE it)

Samsung Gravity T

I guess the only thing I didn't like about it was that it does not respond as fast as I would like. It takes about 2 seconds before it responds to my command.

Samsung Gravity T

Worst phone I ever owned. The touch screen does not register what you press, you can spend forever chasing after the button that you\'re trying to press, because it will move all over the screen. If there is moisture in the air you can just forget...
