As beautifully built as ever but Nokia's flagship slider smartphone is fundamentally flawed, for now.
Beautiful design, Incredibly well built, Superb sliding keyboard, Decent camera for non close-ups
Slow interface, Clunky, confusing interface, Poor default app selection, Fewer apps in app store than competition

Good hardware, but too many software niggles
We’re disappointed by the E7, it feels like a phone from a few years ago. Elements that are good- like the screen, build and camera – are negated by the less-than powerful processor. The E7 is hard to recommend to anyone other than die-hard Nokia fans...

Is the E7 too little, too late from Nokia?
Easy to view screen ; HDMI-out port ; HD video recording ; Classy chassis ; Great keyboard
High price ; Outdated software ; Poor UI ; Unintuitive media experience ; Clunky browser
If beauty were only screen deep, the Nokia E7 series would stand a good chance in a Miss Handset competition, even up against the likes of the iPhone 4, HTC Desire S and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.

It seems like we've been waiting for the Nokia E7 for a very long time. First announced last summer it has finally arrived with Symbian 3, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording, an HDMI output and a host of handy...
Top notch build quality, excellent screen and QWERTY keyboard, 8 megapixel camera with HD video recording, HDMI output
Symbian OS, bulky build
It’s a heavy beast, clearly intended for business users. And as mobile offices go it’s a terrific tool, with a fine keyboard, excellent screen, more than capable camera and a feast of software goodies for work and fun. The problem, as it has been with...

Nokia's E7, despite being pitched off the back of the Communicator line, is mildly reminiscent of the N97 , a flagship handset that veritably sunk into the depths of smartphone obscurity. Although the E7 - part of Nokia's Enterprise line of devices -...
Excellent build quality, smooth operating system, multitasking
Ovi Store needs to attract premium developers, some unexpected OS sluggishness, not enough has changed on the surface

The Nokia E7 is its latest slide-out keyboard phone, a smartphone packed with Symbian. Taking the body shape and several other design cues from the Nokia N8, and a keyboard not too dissimilar to the year-old…

The Nokia E7 is a Symbian-based smartphone with a 4in screen and a hardware qwerty keyboard.
The Nokia E7 is a superbly built smartphone with an excellent display, a great keyboard and very impressive specifications. But smartphones are no longer about the specifications as much as the entire user experience, and it's here where the E7 fails...

What did Nokia do? They dropped this form factor which was associated only with their products and did not have any direct competition. The next step was to choose the same form factor other manufacturers like HTC used for corporate users i.e. they...

Nokia E7 is the Finnish company's latest business handset. It has a lot to live up to, following in the footsteps of some fantastic Nokia Communicator devices. It features Symbian ^3, has a large 4-inch touchscreen and a sliding QWERTY keypad. Read on...
Despite that, we still find ourselves liking the Nokia E7. The excellent build quality and proper keypad make it feel like an old-school business smartphone – a feel further enhanced by the slightly old fashioned operating system. If you can live with...

Nokia's last gasp Symbian smartphone, the E7, is here. Does it go out in a blaze of glory or is it a damp squib? Julian Prokaza finds out in our review.
A few fiddly aspects aside, the Nokia E7 is a lovely piece of hardware, but the Symbian^3 operating system is just out of its depth when compared to the competition — and the fact that Nokia has also lost faith in Symbian is hardly encouraging either....
