Nokia goes colour crazy with entry-level Supernova phone
Decent value for money ; Classic design ; Lightweight ; Simple interface ; MicroSD card expansion ; FM radio
No 3G - Tri-band only ; Battery power ; 2.0 megapixel camera ; 2.5mm headphone jack rather than standard 3.5mm socket
It might not really be a stellar handset, but if you're looking for an ultra-light low-cost phone with a solid no-nonsense performance, the Nokia 7210 Supernova could well be a sleek, chic, slimline choice

Excellent communication qualities and impressive design – this is all that is required from a mobile phone. If you think so, then you should pay attention to the Nokia 7210 Supernova. This is a very convenient pocket-size phone. Its thickness is 10.6...

Swayed by aesthetics but on a budget? Nokia's Supernova 7210 may have the answer
Price tag / Lightweight / Compact / Easy to use
No 3G or Wi-Fi / Keyboard not great / 2MP camera / Small screen
If you remain underwhelmed, perhaps this last piece of information will help sway you. The handset will set you back just 120 euros (£107 at the current exchange rate which could well have changed between writing this and publication!)

Extremely basic ; Low end camera and video recorder ; Poor battery life
There could barely be a more straightforward handset in 2008 than the Nokia 7210 Supernova. If you're one of those people who just wants a 'phone to be a phone' then you're laughing, but if you clock up the minutes each month you may find its stamina a...

Apparently Nokia is marching towards the low-end of the market as every new collection it has churned out so far comes with a couple of budget solutions. The only exception in this sense is the 8000 series, which has retained its original focus. On the...
By and large the 7210 Supernova is an affordable solution for those who is in for market for their first phones (students), or young girls (who need no bells and whistles in their handsets) and some men too (they'll make up to 20 percent of all sales)...

This Nokia mobile phone is compact and slim but largely unremarkable.
Lightweight, straightforward design
Poorly designed keypad and controls, build quality, no outstanding features, price
The 7210 Supernova is a basic and largely unremarkable handset that is priced a little too high to be considered good value.
