Nokia claims it's the smallest smartphone ever. Is that because there's nothing to the 700?
Excellent screen, Great build quality, Comprehensive video support
Limited app support, Ropey camera, Symbian OS is still limited

The thin Nokia 700 is certainly a tiny smartphone, but is it packing much hardware in that skinny frame?
Beautifully crisp and responsive ClearBlack screen ; Sleek, discreet design and comfortable in the hand ; Solid, quality build ; Wi-Fi and 3G ; Symbian Belle is quick and didn't lag
No social networking integration ; QWERTY touchscreen keyboard is a little difficult to use in portrait mode ; Lacks really decent apps in the Ovi store ; Screen's a tad too small ; Unable to use your own headset

If you ever needed evidence that the mighty can fall, then take a look at Nokia. A firm that was unstoppable until the iPhone was launched, it has since faltered and stumbled at every step. Or so it seems to some commentators. Perhaps the firm ignored...
Lovely hardware, small and light, great screen, superb call quality, microSD slot, great battery life
Too small for larger human fingers, camera is rubbish
The 700 isn't perfect, but it's a reasonably likable phone. If you're app mad, then you'll want to avoid it. If you're looking for a good, solid phone, then it's probably idea.

The Nokia 700 is a neat little smartphone with a solid and tidy physical design. At just 92g in weight and overall measurements of 110x50x9.7mm it may appeal if you want your smartphone to fit into a small pocket and like the idea of being able to...
The fact that the smartphone basics are catered for mean the Nokia 700 has decent functionality. However, it may be that bit too small to pass muster as a usable handset, and Symbian 10.1 feels distinctly hampered by a lack of third-party app support.

Nokia is billing the 700 as the smallest smartphone with a customisable homescreen, it's also one of the latest handsets to be running Symbian Belle, the latest version of the company's operating…
Fantastic build quality ; Great screen ; 1Ghz processor ; Symbian tweaks improve user experiance
Typing can be hard on the small screen ; Limited apps ; Some actions take too long to complete

I complete our All About Symbian review of the diminutive Nokia 700 with this, part 3, looking at the bundled applications I haven't mentioned so far, at the device's highlights and I deliver a verdict on who the 700 is perfect for (clue: it's probably...
As All About Symbian readers, you'll be forgiven for giving the Nokia 700 a pass - I suspect that your attention will be drawn to the sister device, the 701, with a much larger screen, bigger battery, better camera, FM transmitter, and yet with the...

Interrupted by the week of Nokia World 2011, where there were plenty of Nokia 700s on show, here comes part 2 of my review of this smallest ever Symbian smartphone. In which I focus(!) on the camera, multimedia and NFC functionality. It's a fair...
I say 'tutorials', but each of the panels above just links to a one minute narration-less video. Each function ('pair', 'share', 'play') is shown in action. The videos are glossy and do demonstrate what's happening clearly, but they're hardly tutorials...

This is the first Symbian Belle smartphone to be formally reviewed on All About Symbian, though of course we've covered the new OS update in some depth previously. The 700 is billed as the "smallest smartphone in the world" (being only 50cc in volume)...
In part two of this review of the Nokia 700, I'll look at its 'disappointing' camera functions, at multimedia playback and at its connectivity, while in the final part three, one of the All About Symbian team will provide a long term review perspective...

The Nokia 7900 is a great piece of kit that can be had for nothing on some bargain contracts, but only if you're not too bothered about having a great choice of downloadable apps.
Sharp display, good web browsing, NFC facility
Dearth of apps, disappointing 2GB of storage, Symbian Belle cannot live up to iOS or Android
The Nokia 700 is an impressive piece of kit. Symbian Belle is finally starting to show promise as an OS and the phone looks good and performs well. But the lack of apps will be a deal-breaker for most smartphone fans.

Sharp screen, decent web experience, NFC capability
Lack of apps, only 2GB of storage, Symbian Belle still not as intuitive as Android of iOS
