The Motorola SLVR L7 will best satisfy voice callers who want a see-and-be-seen device.
So pretty. iTunes is easy to use.
Quiet speakerphone. Poor camera. Slow data transfers. Strange headphone connector.
Because of technical problems, we couldn't finish our battery tests by our deadline. We'll update the review soon with battery results. If we were to guess, though, we'd bet this would have similar talk time to the SLVR L6, on the low end of average....

If you're into something that speaks elegance, class and intellect, you wouldn't want to miss owning the Motorola SLVR L7. Its chestnut faceplate on charcoal black, finished with a touch of silver is almost comparable to Mona Lisa's mischievous...
Perhaps there is nothing supernatural about this eye-catcher, but it was certainly made with a clear purpose.

Slim form factor, Well built, Memory card slot, MP3 Player, Included Bluetooth headset
Menu system, Keypad design, Heavy, Paltry VGA camera, no iTunes support in Australia, Average battery life
The SLVR L7 is an admirable effort by Motorola to provide the same wow factor of the RAZR in a candybar format. A better quality camera and a long awaited update to the user interface and Motorola could well be onto something very special here.

Very robust - drop it and it bounces. Easy to use basic functionality, if all you REALLY want to do is make calls and send texts (with the bonus of a handy camera) this is the phone for you. It does just what it says on the box!!
My first non flip top phone, and I would think carefully before I bought another. It is a headache to remember to lock / unlock the keypad before putting it in your pocket.
