Motorola's MotoSmart may be cheap, but it struggles against similarly priced competitors.
Excellent build quality, Great call quality, Motorola has made some interesting tweaks to the phone's OS
Terrible camera, Sluggish performance, Poor screen, Short battery life

Do nice things ever come in very small and very cheap packages?
SD card support ; Loud speakers ; Nice Motorola video player app ; Solid chassis
Poor camera ; Little app storage ; Rough old version of Android ; Unresponsive lock screen
Motorola's MotoSmart is the Google-owned company's most affordable (it hates it when we say "cheapest") phone yet, with the small 3.5-inch model arriving on Pay As You Go for around the £99 (around AU$155/US$159) price point, or £7 (AU$10.98/US$11.25)...

The Motorola MOTOSMART arrives as the company's new affordable smartphone. Featuring an 800MHz processor and a £100 price tag SIM free.
As was mentioned earlier, the handset retails for around £100 SIM free and is available for free on contracts as low as £7.50 a month.

Motorola is joining the budget smartphone race with the MotoSmart, a £100 Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone that warrants its cheap price tag.
The Motorola MotoSmart is a dull, poor-performing budget Android smartphone. The one very good thing about it is that it costs £100 and that is very cheap for an Android smartphone, no matter how dull.

Motorola announced the Motosmart yesterday and we've managed to get some hands-on time with the budget Android smartphone.
Our first impressions of the Motorola Motosmart are good. It's a decent little smartphone at a bargain price. It does have some competition from some other handsets so will give you a full verdict when we've had the handset in for review.

A cheap smartphone that leaves you anything but cheerful
Cheap, battery is good, feels fairly sturdy
Slow processor, outdated software with no chance of an upgrade
In terms of storage, the Motosmart comes with 165MB of memory and support for up to 32GB of microSD storage. This is a bit of a problem as it means you'll have to buy an SD card to store anything of note on the Motosmart. Considering that SD cards can...

Motorola have a clear cut divide between their high end devices (Razr, Proton, Razr Maxx, Razr HD, Razr M) and their current budget devices (Motoluxe and this the Motosmart). When Motorola first introduced the Motoluxe they were full of the fact it was...
Here are some shots of the Motosmart: Overall the Motosmart feels a bit out dated. Especially when you can get jems like the Xperia Tipo for about the same price. At the moment you can get it on the following networks: I look forward to what the next...
