Motorola aims to impress with this well featured slider mobile offering a distinctive angled-when-open design.
The screen is something else Motorola is keen to shout about. It measures 2.2 inches corner to corner and displays 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colours. This isn’t exactly ground-breaking. But it also displays video at 30 frames a second.

A twist on the slider adds a kick to a stunning handset
3G HSDPA mobile broadband ; Supplied high quality stereo Bluetooth headset and movie on memory card ; Full web browsing
Camera lacks autofocus ; Detail of design is matter of taste ; No typewriter-style keyboard
Let's face it: there's more to a phone than just features and performance, and the Z8 has individuality in spades

The next generation of mobile phones is all about music isn't it? Wrong, that was last years message and perhaps realising that they've missed the boat against the likes of Sony Ericsson's Walkman range and the yet to be launched iPhone, Motorola's...
Screen quality, design, interface, headphones, movie in the box
Is that screen going to be big enough?
So first impressions are good. Our only concern is that the screen isn't big enough to get the most out of video, however it's probably why Motorola can claim the decent battery life.

Motorola has reinvented the slider phone with the Z8, a multimedia-focussed handset that runs a tweaked Smartphone operating system. The marketing for this handset is all about its fancy design and multimedia features, but before we ...
The mostly black colour scheme with lime highlights is certainly eye-catching, as is the phone's unusual shape. The Bluetooth headset could prove handy too. All in all, it's an interesting package.

This is the second model in the Z range that we have come across, the first being the Z3 that we reviewed a few months back. And like its smaller ...
The Motorla Z8 is a nice smartphone and thanks to its Symbian UIQ 3.1 platform makes it a solid performer. It's only let down by its functionality and price tag.

In the most intensive usage mode, the charge on the batter lives for 1 day – during this time span not only can you listen to music without taking a break, but also check mail and browse Internet pages on regular basis. Taking into consideration that...

The Motorola ( MOTORIZR ) Z8 was first seen at this year's 3GSM in Barcelona. Photos of the device can be seen on the left and currently the phone is shown on 3G's shop as coming soon - on O2 and Vodafone. When you first think of the term "Z8" my first...
3G HSDPA ; Improved user interface ; Unique banana shape works well
2 Megapixel camera is lagging behind the competition
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
I got this phone as a gift, a Ferrari version Z8 phone. I must say this is the lousiest phone I have ever owned. The sliding with cause electrical shock to the phone and resulted phone shut off by itself. I'm very frustrated about it.
The design of the phone, your friend will be amazed with it.
Everything except the look.
