Motorola Debut i856 (Sprint-Nextel)

The Motorola Debut i856 is a decent push-to-talk phone for Boost Mobile subscribers thanks to a slider design and GPS radio.

Solid voice quality. Loud speakerphone. Good battery life. Feels durable.

Stiff, cramped membrane keypad. Low-res LCD. Unreliable Bluetooth pairing.

Motorola Debut i856 review

Most iDEN push-to-talk phones are quite bulky, and come in either a clamshell or candy bar design. However, the Motorola Debut bucks that trend. It is the first ever iDEN push-to-talk phone to come in a slider design, which gives it a rather svelte...

The Motorola Debut has a slim slider design, plus it comes with push-to-talk, GPS, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a good music player. It also has very good call quality.

The Motorola Debut suffers from poor keypad design and a low-resolution display.

If you can live with a few design quirks, the Motorola Debut is a decent, basic, multimedia phone for Boost Mobile.

Motorola i856 debuted

The Motorola i856 is the first slider cellphone with a Boost push-to-talk service. But when you look at the rest of the features, it is more or same like an entry level phone as it comes with a 1.3 MP camera, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD...

Stear Clear!

Stay away from this phone! The screen freezes after just a few month because of bad build quality. Boost won't cover it and Motorola only gives 90 day warrenty. In fact stay away from all Motorola phones.
