LG's Prada II is here, so what does Sandra make of it this time around?
The screen drops into wide format when you slide the keyboard out, and a carousel menu of keyboard supporting functions pops up. There is an accelerometer, too, which can be used in some of the on-board games.

It seems fashionistas just aren't ready for a touchscreen phone, so can adding a slide out QWERTY keyboard really make the Prada from LG a success? We have a quick play at the launch event to find out. While our time with the Prada 2 (it's actually...
Free Bluetooth watch, QWERTY keyboard for easier typing, more responsive touchscreen

The LG Prada II is just like the original WAG-ish Prada phone, but far, far better. Something for the rest of us, as it were. Yes, you sacrifice the wafer thin build to fit in that Qwerty keyboard, but…

LG's tie-up with Prada is in its second outing with the Prada II, also known as the KF900. This handset is very reminiscent of its predecessor, the original Prada phone, but times have changed. The ...
Touchscreen handsets are much more common than they used to be and without GPS on board the Prada II finds itself in the second division rather than the first. The QWERTY keyboard does give it quite a lift, though.

This is a great looking phone - Prada badge or no. It adds a pull-out QWERTY keyboard to the original design but, as a result, is about twice the weight and 5mm thicker. A whooping 100 million units were sold of the original, so looks-wise, LG has...
The sleek design, the wi-fi support and the cleaning cloth for making my phone worthy of the Prada brand name again after lunch
The initial price (although this is now contract dependent)

The follow up to the original Prada mobile features a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a 5-megapixel camera. There's also a 3-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, 3G, HSDPA, full HTML browser and FM radio. The good These mobile gizmos have a fantastically...
Too under-powered for geeks and too chunky for genuine fashionistas, this competent touchphone is destined to sink to the mass market quicker than a Christian Dior anchor in a vat of Chanel. LG Prada 2 is tagged with LG, Prada and mobile phone. Select...

The LG Prada II ($500 unlocked) improves on its predecessor in some important ways--such as by offering a physical QWERTY keyboard, 3G network capability, and Wi-Fi support. It's packed with impressive specs, but it doesn't have a vital (and...
Excellent multimedia features ; Responsive multitouch interface
No GPS
Browsing the Web is a pretty straightforward experience, albeit one that the Prada II's multitouch capabilities enhance somewhat. Nevertheless, I found myself pinching multiple times before the page would zoom in or out. Connectivity was slow at times,...

No GPS
Though the stylish LG Prada II is a significant upgrade from its predecessor, it still lacks some key features.

The second phone to bear the name of the world-famous Italian fashion house fights on two fronts: to both become a fashion icon as the first one and to satisfy all requirements of the modern user…

The LG Prada II (US$500 unlocked) improves on its predecessor in some important ways - such as by offering a physical QWERTY keyboard, 3G network capability, and Wi-Fi support
As fashion phones go, the Prada II is a lot more than just a pretty face: It has a great feature set and a user-friendly interface. But its lack of integrated GPS disappointed me--especially in view of its high price. Integrated GPS is becoming...
