LG Lotus review

Right now the LG Lotus is available only through Sprint in the States.

The LG Lotus is currently available only via Sprint in the US. It comes with both Sprint Navigation, the GPS application, and Sprint’s One Click interface, which puts the multimedia features at your fingertips. But at $150 for a two-year contract, the...

LG Lotus (Sprint)

The unique-looking LG Lotus works with many of Sprint's premium media services, and it hides a full QWERTY keyboard inside.

Large, bright internal screen. Comfortable controls and buttons. Supports Sprint's various, optional media and GPS services.

Worse-than-average reception. Not a particularly good value.

Review: LG LX600 Lotus

If another electronics-maker slaps a pink paint job and some floral prints onto one of its products and then tries to pass it off as...

A thoughtful, well-designed piece of hardware — it’s not like LG just slapped some lipstick on a pre-existing handset and called it a “phone for the ladies.” One Click access and fleet-footed internet connection look great on large, highly detailed screen

Try touch-typing on that keypad — just try it — your text messages will look like Borat composed them. Fun Frames is the Jessica Simpson of photo editing tools

LG Electronics Lotus

The LG Lotus, available from Sprint for $150 with a two-year contract (as of 10/24/08), manages to pack a variety of multimedia features within a stylish yet functional design. But the Lotus is a lot like high-fashion clothing: If you shop around, you...

Eye-catching design ; Intuitive interface

QWERTY keyboard feels cramped ; Overpriced for a midrange phone

The Lotus's couture design will turn heads, but it's overpriced for a midrange phone.

LG Lotus

The squarish, LG Lotus ($149.99 after rebate, with Sprint contract) pulls off an unusual feat: It sports a full QWERTY keyboard contained within a traditional flip-phone form factor. It manages this while retaining a slim design that allows the phone...

Large, bright internal screen. Comfortable controls and buttons. Supports Sprint's various, optional media and GPS services

Worse-than-average reception. Not a particularly good value

The LG Lotus offers a unique design that's perfect for flip fans looking to upgrade to a full QWERTY keyboard and Sprint's various 3G-enabled services, though its price makes it a tough sell against low-end smartphones.

LG Lotus review: LG Lotus

LG Lotus

The LG Lotus is a stylish and slender clamshell phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. Features include a 2.0-megapixel camera, a music player, Sprint's 3G services, and an innovative easy-to-use shortcut interface called One Click. Call quality is good...

The LG Lotus lags a bit when entering text and switching applications, and is a little on the pricey side.

The LG Lotus has an eye-catching design, top-notch features, and great performance, making it one of the top messaging phones available from Sprint.

LG Lotus 2 to launch in 2010

Remember Lotus? It was a square phone launched by LG and now plans are on for it to launch its second version next year. Features include MicroSD supporting up to 32 GB (up from 12 GB) and an external touch display. That's the lot we know for now....
