Kyocera Hydro Vibe (Virgin Mobile)

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe for Virgin Mobile is an affordable waterproof smartphone, but its performance is only average.

Waterproof. Affordable. Solid media support.

Poor call quality. Unimpressive display. Mediocre camera.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Vibe has 8GB of storage, but only half of that is available to the user. There's also a free microSD card slot under the back cover, buried under the battery, which supports cards up to 32GB—it couldn't read our...

Kyocera Hydro Vibe (Sprint)

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe adds another low-cost waterproof smartphone to Sprint's lineup, but it's only average at best.

Kyocera Hydro Vibe review

For those who have met the unfortunate fate of being thrown into a pool with your smartphone in your pocket, the water-resistant Kyocera Hydro Vibe for Sprint may look tempting. After all, at $29.99 on contract, it's reasonably affordable, and peace of...

Sprint's Kyocera Hydro Vibe is affordable on contract, it's water resistant, and it has a few nifty software features for first-time smartphone users.

Call quality was poor, the camera's problems with focus resulted in blurry photos, and data speeds were especially slow, even for 3G.

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe is an unmemorable phone that can't outpace its competitors, and is only worth considering if water-resistance is a top priority.

Sprint Kyocera Hydro Vibe review

Sprint and Kyocera team up yet again to make that mid-range phone that does just enough to make you consider it if you're in the right price bracket Sprint and Kyocera are a bit of a dynamic duo in the U.S. wireless market, releasing new devices...

Nobody that has the Kyocera Hydro Vibe on their radar when walking into a Sprint store will be comparing it to the latest and greatest from Samsung, HTC or LG — and because of its price point, it actually has a lot going for it. At just $29 on-contract...

Kyocera Hydro Vibe review: A rugged mid-range phone with a few glaring flaws

It's small, handy, and water resistant, but it's missing some UI elements and added features that would have made it a worthy mid-range device.

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe wouldn’t be my first choice for a mid-range handset. I’d much rather go for the phablet-sized

Kyocera is back with another waterproof, entry-level Android smartphone for Sprint's network. The Vibe offers a good mix of features and performance for the price.

"The absolute WORST cellphone I have ever purchased."

I have had nothing but problems with this awful phone. Callers cannot even hear me on the other end mainly because this phone DOES NOT have an exterior mic. It uses vibrations through the glass to transfer sound. HORRIBLE. The phone constantly...

"This phone is perfect. "

Wow! This phone is perfect. Super fast, smooth, and perfect size. I have found no bugs. Slim enough for a hard case without being too big. Waterproof is an added bonus. Screen is so vibrant and sharp. Get a perfect phone without paying a crazy price.

No Complaints

I traded my recently broken (from falling) LG tribute to this cell for the additional memory and better camera. Glad I did. Easier to use, drops fewer calls, seems quicker on internet, screen seems to have larer viewable screen and when I delete pics,...

I reay like this phone

It is not top of the line but it is what I need it for. It has plenty of room for apps, and pics. I bought an SD card for even more room. If you need a good phone for basic texting calling and picture taking as we as social media, and don't want to...
