The Huawei Pinnacle 's portrait QWERTY layout is familiar and easy on the eye. It presents a straightforward user interface and some extra goodies like a music player and the ability to create folders.

Call quality on the Pinnacle was mediocre, there are a few design flaws here and there, and the phone is a little sluggish. Video quality also tanked.

Huawei Pinnacle (MetroPCS)

The Huawei Pinnacle is short on features, but it's a good option if you need a lightweight, budget-priced phone built for texting.

Comfortable keyboard. Lightweight. Good music player. Nice display.

I have had the phone 2 months, and I really like it. Texting is really fun in chat mode. Battery seems to last 4 days with normal use. I don't have a micro SD card yet, so I cannot test the music player features. I have the $25/month plan, and it is...

The contacts menu has a feature for just your favourite people. Chat mode for texting makes it easy to follow a long-running conversation. Gorgeous screen. Espanol customization.

No countdown timer. No way to designate a primary phone number if your contact prefers that you call the house first instead of the cell. Cannot customize the hot keys. Text message alert does not change volume with the ringtone.
