The BlackBerry Curve, in all of its different incarnations, has been available to GSM providers for quite a while now and it is only recently that Research in Motion decided to plunk a CDMA radio into the thing. Bell Mobility, one of Canada's two...
At the end of the day, the BlackBerry Curve 8330 from Bell Mobility is not exactly a revolutionary device, because we've already had the opportunity to toy with a Curve in GSM land. Even so, I feel that it is probably the best BlackBerry available from...

We imagine Sprint customers have been waiting a long time for this, but the time has finally come. Yes, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 is now available, and it brings the same great design of its GSM counterparts and even adds 3G to boot. Like the RIM...
The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 offers integrated GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and EV-DO. The compact smartphone continues to offer solid messaging capabilities and includes support for a number of features that the Verizon model does not.
The BlackBerry Curve 8330 lacks Wi-Fi, and call quality wasn't the greatest.
Despite some spotty call quality, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for Sprint is a great messaging device with the bonus of EV-DO and integrated GPS. Plus, it offers more services than the Verizon BlackBerry Curve.

Alltel's version of our Editors' Choice smartphone, RIM's BlackBerry Curve 8330, doesn't mess with success.
Excellent voice quality. Easy to use. Terrific keyboard.

Sprint's version of the Curve 8330 is the best one yet, with robust multimedia options and solid voice quality.
Near-perfect design, including an exceptional keyboard. Built-in GPS. Solid voice quality. Top-notch e-mail handling. Robust software bundle.
Still no document editing. No Wi-Fi. Poorly placed microSDHC card slot.

The Curve 8330 is Verizon's best smartphone, offering all the business capability you'd expect from a BlackBerry, but with a stylish and comfortable design and enhanced multimedia features.
Near-perfect design, including an exceptional keyboard. Stellar voice quality. Well-balanced feature set, including integrated GPS.
Still no document editing. IM client is weak. No Wi-Fi or mobile TV. Poorly placed microSDHC card slot.

On Alltel's network, the Curve sounds as beautiful as ever. Reception is excellent, and volume is pretty much perfect, with no distortion even at the top level. And the speakerphone is loud and clear. Curves are among the best voice phones we've...

No AIM or GPS apps
Sprint's model is still the best of the Curves, but this BlackBerry will satisfy Alltel users looking to stay connected.

BlackBerry Curve 8330
The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for U.S. Cellular offers good call quality and strong messaging capabilities. The smartphone also has Bluetooth, EV-DO support, and a 2-megapixel camera with video recording.
You can't take full advantage of the Bluetooth or GPS capabilities since U.S. Cellular doesn't currently offer a location-based service or phone-as-a-modem plan.
While lacking some advanced capabilities of the Sprint and Verizon Wireless versions, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for U.S. Cellular is still a good choice for customers in need of a solid messaging smartphone.

About this time last year RIM introduced the Curve 8300. The consumer-friendly feature set paired with RIM's legendary QWERTY made it an instant hit, and CDMA users have lusted after it since day one. Now they finally have a Curve to call their own,...
