For the person who needs email on the move this is the device to get it with

Can pick up mail and text on the move

But not MMS and can’t take pictures

If you are a person that needs to be in constant touch with people over email this is certainly the device to do it with. The only set back is that with this much connectivity saying that you are out of the office will cease to be an excuse not to do...

RIM Blackberry 7230

If you want to do email on the move, then you should consider the Blackberry. If its niche image has put you off in the past, think again, because it is now a sensible multi-purpose gadget, with a very usable phone and web browser. The screen may look...

RIM BlackBerry 7230

The RIM BlackBerry 7230 ($399.99), from T-Mobile USA, is a fairly small and sleek-looking device dedicated to mobile mail: E-mail meets the pager.

RIM BlackBerry 7230 Review

The RIM BlackBerry 7230 makes an excellent smart phone. Compact; color screen; nice built-in keyboard; real-time e-mail; Web browser; Java support (J2ME); compact travel charger and syncing cable; decent battery life.

It's a PDA: profoundly disappointing appliance

My Handspring Visor finally gave out, so I looked for a replacement PDA. If you've looked at PDAs lately, you probably noticed that the field has deteriorated over the last few years. Sony was a promising contender, but they've bailed out entirely. And...

keyboard, solid construction, Java-based app development

poor OS design and syncing, very dim screen, essentially no support from manufacturer

BlackBerry has mobile e-mail figured out...

I've used several different PDA's from time to time, none of them really had me captivated until I used the BlackBerry 7230.

Single handed e-mail reads, synchronization with corporate mail system is seamless

No bluetooth, rate plans can be spendy, backlight weak, bulky as a phone
