Should have read more reviews on other websites

I bought this blender for the single purpose of making smoothies. I guess because the base is not funneled enough at the bottom (i.e. it is too wide) not all of the fruit has a chance to pass by the blades. My smoothies always have huge chunks of fruit...

Quality & Value

I bought two of these blenders because this site has the best price ever. I use my blender every day and this Cuisinart provides me with every feature that I need. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, plus it was delivered very fast! Thanks, guys!

Perfect Replacement

I purchased this refurbished blender to replace the blender portion from my old blender-food processor that acted up after many years of solid, reliable service. To replace the complete unit would have cost much, much more. I was very happy with the...

Excellent

I purchased this unit to replace an inexpensive blender I've had for years. The cheapo blender always strained when attempting to puree even light loads but the Cuisinart does the same job with lots of power to spare. I like the way the blender...

It looks good

It has a good motor and the jar is sturdy. The part breaking is not that big a deal as I just buy another and move on. The noise does stink and I may change someday because of that.

It looks good and is easy to clean

The mentioned problem with the transfer part on the blade breaking...oh yea...it will happen...again and again and again. Noisy as an airplane taking off. It drowns out my 4 year old and that takes a lot...wait a minute....margaritas and I can't hear...

Sent mine back twice

I have this blender that I purchased from another retailer. Ihave sent it back to the manufacturer twice for the same problem. They use a cheap plastic impeller piece (the piece that transfers the motor energy to the blades). Since i purchased...

good power, good blades

garbage

If I were the manufacturer or reseller of this product, I would put some kind of self-indemnity clause on the packaging so I wouldn't get sued. This product deserves negative eggs.

Lid does not seal properly. First time I used it, it sprayed margarita syrup all over and overflowed onto my counter and kitchen floor. Startled me and I picked it up, it fell onto the floor and glass smashed

not their best work.

took a chance on this because I had a cheap cuisinart blender 5 years ago that was terrific. It cost me $20, and had 3 buttons with dial for speed. everything sealed great, and it wasn't too loud, though had plenty of power. This refurb thing costs...

looks good

lid parts do not seal. motor is loud and takes a bit to get up to selected speed. The serial number is scratched off therefore making any warranty service or parts from the manufacturer void and unavailable. Additionally, the warranty on refurbished is...
