Problems with this expensive Smeg product

After 6 years of use, the following problems: Right after the installation we noticed an unpleasant "hum". The service person arrived and concluded that nothing could be done because the metal sheeting use in manufacturing is too thin and vibrates. Now...

Was ok for some time.

I bought 2 of these, for investment units

Absolutely no problem with both microwaves. If you keep them clean 9and why wouldn't you, it's hygienic), no problems. Both bought in March 2008 and still good! Very happy with them, no service call required in 4+ years. I had family of three, or...

Terrible

Great as a microwave. Do not purchase for grill and oven features or you will be frustrated. Max temperature of 200C and max cooking time of 1 hour. If you need to cook (ie bake or roast) for longer than 1 hour, the oven moves to a "cool down" mode,...

Looks good, small and compact. Good as a microwave only.

Grill and convection features are don't work well.
