Sony MDR-EX85LP

When it comes to top quality high-end headphones, the range Sony products that hits our shores is sparse. In the overseas market, the top-end of the S...

Smooth texture, Great overall sound quality, Comfortable design

Some sibilance, Slightly fatiguing

A great portable in-ear headphone from Sony, the EX85LPs are great for easy listening, offering a smooth sound and comfortable design.

Reviews: Sony MDR-EX85LP Stereo Headphones

Last year, Sony tested the waters with MDR-EX90LP, a $100 hybrid earphone that looked like a metal, large-speakered earbud with a silicone eartip attached. But with a selling price substantially higher than Sony's in-canal MDR-EX70 and MDR-EX80 models,...

Great aesthetics and quality

I've always found Sony earphones have the great sound quality, and look good, but these earphones have excelled with brilliant sound quality, with gold plated plug for such a low price. They also look superb and stand out well.

Top value !!

These are excellent value. You won't find them cheaper on the net. Very dynamic sound. The only critiscism is that they do leak some noise. Thinking of buying a second pair for a rainy day at this price.

Great fit, great bass, great quality, Great Value!

For £13.99, these are amazing. I got them to use while waiting for my replacement goldring gx200s. They're not as good as the gx200s for overall sound quality - the whole range is detailed on them, but:
