JBL J88 Headphones Review: Stylish Bassy Cans for Php6,690

 

The JBL J88 headphones aims to be known for two things: style and bass. These cans are probably one of the most stylish headphones ever made by JBL. It has a brushed stainless steel headband and ear-cup accents which just makes it look phenomenal!

Comfortable, decent sound

 

Overall, it's not bad and I do use it for TV, but for really good music, I would not use it. I'm not an audiophile and I don't have any expensive equipment, so I'm not coming from a purist point of view, etc..

Comfortable headset. I can wear it for several hours. Blocks external sound nicely. Sound is very good for non-critical listening.

The sound is slightly boomy - not super bass, but fills the space between instruments instead of leaving it naturally empty. Sound is good, but definitely not great. My BSR $20 earbuds are way better, but are not so good for long term use because they...

Good sound and comfort poor durability

 

Good sound good bass comfortable for long sessions used these as gaming headset and could hear footsteps and their directions just fine

Lasted about a month then the ear cups started to wear off and exposed ugly yellow foam iratating to the ear Then after about 5 months I took them off and the head band snapped

Bad. Just bad.

 

They feel like they are of nice quality.

Sound is horrible. They have as much bass response as the 1979 Mercury Cougar my grandmother used to drive...which is to say none. Might be good if you only listen to talk radio on AM. The highs are ok but once the bass drops is sounds so bad and...

Would not recommend!

 

I really would not recommend these headphones to anyone even when its on sale. It has a very poor build quality. I just ended up tossing them out because the RMA process would have cost me the same price as the headphones themselves.

-It sounded alright while it still worked. Good sound for the price (bought it for $25)

-Within 5 month the padding came undo on both earcups. Its good to note that I only used it with my desktop. -The swivel mechanism broke right out of the gate. -Shoddy construction. The arch broke after a while. I did drop it 3 times on the carpeted...

I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Cheaply made. Came apart after a couple months of use. Used duct tape to hold them together until I could buy a different pair.
