Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth headset review

Jabra's nicely designed Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth headset can connect to two phones simultaneously, so if have two phones, you won't have to resync them each time you switch between them.

The Jabra BT8040 sounds okay and has a few nice conveniences. But try before you buy, if possible, to see whether it fits your ear.

Review: Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth Headset

Bluetooth headsets have been a popular accessory for cell phones for years now and Jabra has led the charge. Manufacturing wireless headset since 1996 and Bluetooth headsets since 2000,

Lightweight and small, Secure fit semi-customizable with the various sized ear gels, Good sound quality, Ability to stream music

Comfort: 5, Sound Quality: 4.75/5 (some slight fluctuations), Controls are a little awkward, Elaborate LED and Tone alerts take some getting used to

The BT8040 comes packaged with a wall charger, USB cable (to allow charging via your computer), extra ear gels of assorted size, and a quick start guide. The unit that I tested did not have a full user's manual. Jabra's website mentions an illustrated...

Recomended

It's worth for 20 bucks. I would recommend it to who also look for a2dp music streaming.

Small, light, strong build, sound great (not the best very good) ; I ordered two of these, they' all come in a plactic bag (with a instruction, extra gels, bluetooth, ac power charger, and usb card)

Refurnished not OEM. Come in a plastic bag. I ordered two one as a gift, but I had to send in a replacement because one is worn out. Newegg happily replace it, though it's still in process

Pleased

Overall I have been pleased with this BT. Unfortunately I am not able to pair it with my Motorala SLVR's mp3 player though.

lightweight, fits in the ear, easy pairing to phone, good range, pairs to SOME phone mp3 players

battery life isn't as long as I would like, it's size makes it fairly easy to lose, it can make your inner ear sore after a while if you've been wearing it for a long time
