Beats Solo 3 Wireless review

Fashion-focussed cans gets smart

Excellent wireless stability ; Good Bluetooth-phone interaction ; Energetic, punchy sound

Firm headband pressure ; Lack of fidelity for price

Smart wireless headphones that make some real techy improvements, but the sound unfortunately lags behind. The Beats Solo 3 Wireless make huge improvements in some areas, and change little in others. Top on its list of achievements are class-leading...

Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones review: Bass solo

Beats has been pretty quiet of late, but with the launch of the new iPhone 7 and iOS 10 the company has released four new headphones - including an update to its popular Solo range.

W1 connectivity for Apple users, big bass, long battery life, quick charge

Snug fit is a little too snug, bass can drown out detail, expensive

The Beats Solo 3 headphones offer a great music experience for a certain listener. The W1 connectivity options and huge battery life are certainly the stars of the show for the Solo 3.

Beats Solo 3 Wireless review

These headphones push the boundaries of wireless headphone technology, but not sound quality...

Full-bodied, bold sound ; Clear, clean midrange ; Excellent battery life and range ; Good connectivity with the iPhone 7

Lacks subtlety and detail ; Dynamically flat ; Fit is too tight ; No Lightning connector for iPhone 7

The Solo 3 Wireless boast impressive wireless technology, but lack the detail and subtlety we expect from headphones at this price

Beats Solo3 Wireless review

A clever new wireless chipset means these long-lasting wireless cans can go the distance, too

Incredible wireless range ; 40 hour battery life ; Great design

No noise cancellation ; Better-sounding headphones available at this price ; Limited range of colours at launch

The Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones offer phenomenal wireless range and battery life, but at this price, we’d have liked noise cancellation as well

Beats Solo 3 review: The best wireless headphones for your iPhone 7?

Apple's W1 chip gives the Beats Solo 3 speedy pairing and a stellar battery life

40-hour battery life ; Light and comfortable ; Ridiculously simple pairing

Sound not to everyone's taste ; Quite expensive

It may look a lot like its Solo 2 predecessor, and it remains pricey, but the W1 chip adds a great deal to the Beats Solo 3 package. If you’re an audiophile or need noise cancellation then you’ll want to look elsewhere – maybe towards the more...

Beats Solo 3 Wireless review: the best Beats yet are about a whole lot more than bass

Ridiculous battery life Light, solid build Decent sound quality

Still lacking some audio refinement Slightly uncomfortable after long periods We want more colours

The days of easy Beats-bashing are over. These things aren't just a bass-heavy piece of eye and ear candy. The Beats Solo 3 Wireless are a great set of headphones. No, they're not going to be perfect for everyone, or all musical tastes, but if your...

These are the wireless headphones iPhone 7 owners have been waiting for

The wireless future is upon us.

Super comfy ; Sound great ; Insane battery life ; W1 chip makes pairing painless ; Comes in six colors

Still kinda pricey ; Doesn't include any adapters for Lightning or USB-C

These are the wireless headphones you are looking for if you've got $300 to spend.

Beats Solo 3 Wireless headphone review: Made for iPhone

Beats have had a huge following for many years – almost a cult of high-profile celebrities as well as the enthusiast buyer. Under Apple's ownership things haven't changed much overall, but the refinements being made are making Beats a genuine force...

BEATS BY DR DRE Solo 3 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

Improving year on year plus increased diversity in product range and prices.

Should have physical knobs to equalize ones own bass, treble etc as some songs sound good on iTunes when listening demo but the quality drops when you actually purchase the songs.
