K490NC Headphones

 

The generous padding of the ear cups and the headband signify a high degree of wearing comfort. Metal rings around the ear cups moreover heighten the high-quality appearance of the headphones.

AKG K 490 NC

 

For the price, the excellent AKG K 490 NC noise canceling headphones outperform everything below--and several models above--it.

Quality noise cancellation. Excellent audio performance. Does not distort at high volumes. Very comfortable. Can be used passively. Recharges via USB. Removable cable.

Protective pouch is compact but probably could use more padding or a shell. On-ear design leaks audio.

The AKG K490-NC are decent-sounding, noise canceling headphones. They lack a bit of bass but they're decently comfortable and have a somewhat sturdy build quality. They barely leak, they're somewhat portable and they're stable enough to run with but...
