Planned Obsolesence?

All the extra options and features aren't worth the extra money.

Lots of features and options for vacuum sealing.

Lots of intricate parts like seals, drip trays and bag sensors that can break and render the unit useless. While foodsaver makes replacement parts, it seems no one (foodsaver included) keeps them in stock.
