Sony DSC-S30

The Sony DSC-S30 CyberShot features a 1/2.7" 1.3-megapixel Super HAD CCD image sensor that yields 1280 x 960 uncompressed TIFF or finished JPEG still images. For optimum printing there is a 3:2 (1280 x 848) aspect ratio setting. The DSC-S30 can also in-ca

New Zealand PC World Magazine > Sony Cybershot DSC-S30

This Cybershot doesn't have an optical viewfinder, but its LCD preview panel flips up to a position above the body of the camera which allows it to be rotated 360 degrees for maximum effectiveness (also protecting the surface in transit when it is...

The best 1.3 megapixel camera I have seen

This was our 1st digital camera and we spent $500 on it about 3 years ago. At the time I figured that all 1.3 megapixel camera's were the same until I saw some shots from a friends D-Link. Only with full outdoor lighting was the D-Link able to ...

DSC-S30 Cybershot

This is my second digital camera. Coming from a purely point-and-shoot model with no creative controls whatsoever, this was a welcome change.

Good image quality. Large number of creative controls. Swiveling LCD monitor.

No optical viewfinder. 4MB memory stick is too small.

DSC-30

This was probably the best $450 I've spent in my life. The camera was only $300 plus tax, but the extra expenses made the camera worth while.

good zoom, good picture quality, cheap, good storage

uses batteries fast, low light is crummy

Very good product.

A good camera, but your gonna spend much more money getting enough memory sticks to take a lot of photos. I spent another $200 getting more memory sticks and a good case for mine. It's a shame that all this did not come with it.

Great image size options, good quality pictures and excellent battery life.

not the very highest in image resolution.

MACRO IMAGING CLOSE-UP PICTURES USING SONY DSC-S30 CYBERSHOT FOR USE ON EBAY, YAHOO, AND MORE!!!!

For those of you who have been on search for a digital camera as I have been, it seems almost as if the search may never end. My main goals were to keep the cost as LOW(?) as possible and to have a camera that will meet my personal needs.

Compact, MACRO Imaging, Ease of Operation

No View Finder, Zoom Could Be Better, 1 Second Delay On Shutter Operation

Great Starter Digital Camera

I have always wanted a digital camera, but did not want to spend a ton of money for good quality and basic options. I purchased the DSC-S30 at a local HH Gregg and was taking pictures (with AC Adapter) within 15 minutes of taking it our of the box....

Inexpensive, Easy to Use, USB/PC Interface Quick and Easy

Not many visual features, Need higher capacity memory sticks for hi-res shots
