HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1060

The HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1060 is one of the smartest buys in the small form factor PC space, thanks to its Core i5 processor, 1TB drive, and a rich selection of entertainment options, like Blu-ray, a TV tuner, and Beats Audio.

Intel Core i5-2310 processor and 6GB of RAM made a good tag team on productivity-related tasks. AMD GPU good for low-end 3D games. Spacious 1TB hard drive. Tons of entertainment features include a Blu-ray drive and an integrated TV-tuner. Beats Audio...

Few upgrade options. Limited gaming capabilities. Lots of bloatware.

HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1060: Slim Desktop PC Packs a Few Surprises

The slender HP Pavilion Slimline S5-1060 desktop PC boasts solid computing and some fancy features, such as a Blu-ray disc player. Though it has a discrete graphics card, you won't be able to use it for gaming, but if you're looking for a basic home...

HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1020

As far as small form-factor desktops go, the HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1020 offers decent performance in a package that easily slips under a desk or behind a monitor.

Spacious 1TB hard drive. Wi-Fi. Small form-factor means you can stash this compact tower almost anywhere.

Wired keyboard and mouse will take up two USB ports. No HDMI. Limited room to upgrade or expand. Graphics support is almost non-existent.

Best value desktop computer

If cost is a concern, reviewers say the HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1060 is an excellent value among desktop computers. This compact desktop provides plenty of performance for computing tasks -- emailing, surfing the web, word processing, even data...

Blu-ray drive, 7.1 audio output and HDTV tuner, impressive hardware for a budget desktop, good overall performance, capable of playing video games

No monitor, cramped interior makes upgrades difficult, limited power supply, not suitable for cutting-edge games

HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1060 Review

The HP PAVILION Slimline s5-1060 is not at all a gaming PC and hence if you spend some time gaming on this device you would certainly feel that the discreet 512 MB graphics card is simply not enough to boost the adrenalin of a regular gamer when it...
