HP Pavilion HPE h9-1120t Phoenix review

Starting from around £899 excluding VAT, the HP Pavilion HPE h9-1120t pushes the "budget" part of the Budget PC category, but that doesn't mean it's not an excellent deal. This desktop has tons of great higher-end features - including multiple USB 3.0...

The HP Pavilion HPE h9-1120t may not be the prettiest or most powerful PC around, but it's a good deal for the price. Not only do you get decent graphics and gaming performance, you also get four USB 3.0 ports, built-in Wi-Fi, a Blu-ray disc...

HP Pavilion HPE h9-1120t Phoenix

The HP Pavilion HPE h9-1120t Phoenix is a great desktop for anyone looking to buy a ready-made gaming rig on the cheap, but with a little configuring, you can do just as well elsewhere for less.

Quad-core Intel Core i7-3770K (3.5GHz) processor. AMD Radeon HD 7950 with 3GB dedicated memory. Solid performance. 2TB hard drive offers plenty of storage space. Has 15-month subscription to Norton Internet Security 2012

Turbo Boost overclocking is crippled. Cheesy "window" is just a vent with plastic on it.

HP Phoenix h9-1120t System Review: HP's Gaming Desktop Round Two with Tahiti and Ivy Bridge

Less than four months ago we had in for review HP's entry to the gaming desktop market, the Phoenix. We found that it was a compelling product that served a market segment that had gone largely ignored by the major vendors, though the Sandy Bridge-E...

When I reviewed the initial launch of the HP Phoenix, I felt like it was a good idea and essentially competitive. True, the Sandy Bridge-E model we reviewed was never going to be that compelling, but the chassis design is solid and the thermals are...

HP Pavilion HPE h9-1040uk

Quick, very quiet, excellent graphics, works out of the box. Good range of connectors easily accessible.

Not the machine's fault - couldn't get new drivers for all my existing hardware.

HP Pavilion HPE h9-1270t Phoenix Desktop PC

I recently customized this PC to the point that it was near-fully-loaded. When I received it several weeks later, the computer powered on and performed amazingly. Two days later, however, it refuses to turn on. Having built computers myself for 10-15...
