OK performance but battery life renders useless.

We got this handset in a kit purchased from Costco which included the Ooma telo phone system base unit; While we are happy with the Ooma service and base unit, the handset has proven frustrating to own.

good sound quality when working

battery life is shockingly poor

DOA!!!

Unit charged and appears functional, but will not find the base. This is my second telo handset. The first one died after 6 months, wouldn't charge. It would just get extremely hot. I love the base unit and the service, but I will stick to a regular...

Wouldn't recommend - Telo Handset

First impression is everything! OOMA needs to get this right. I have the OOMA Telo from Costco and it appears to be working great, so far (1. 5 months). I purchased a handset from OOMA and it's not working properly. First problem was speakerphone not...

100 % Satisfaied

I bought Ooma Tele (with out the handset) about a year ago and so far I did not have any problem and it and it is working as advertised. I recommend this product if you want a high quality home phone with $0 monthly fee (or around $9/month if you have...

Good Phone

After reading the previous reviews I was a bit concerned about buying this handset, but I wanted the functionality it provided with the Ooma base unit. I have 2 telo handsets. I have found the phone to work very well. It holds a charge and works as...

Doesn't cover Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands

Bought and before we left the store I returned it. Read the fine print while having lunch at Costco and realized that there are lots of fees involved with it. And, to top it all IT DOESN'T COVER PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, which are very...

This phone is NOT ready for the market

With great promises from Ooma, I expected this phone to be a champ. But I was totally disappointed on this phone. Here are the problems: 1. It has it's own mind as which calls to ring. It randomly stay silent when calls come in. 2. I have 2 phone #'s -...

nice design simulates cell phones

product quality is only so-so., although a 2-line phone it does not work right., phone doesn't ring on every call

if you understand how the phone works and that you have to connect it or sync it to your Ooma telo or hub, then this is the greatest phone you could have. check you voice mail anywhere via email or texts. you can have calls sent to a secondary number....

Work in progress

Please be aware that this handset, the Telo base, & the Ooma service itself are getting service updates fairly often. Make sure you update to the latest firmware version before it makes you angry and you return it.

it's being constantly upgraded
