Samsung HT-F9750W

Samsung's flagship system is feature-packed but pricey.

Comprehensive feature list ; Potent and detailed sound quality ; Stylish design

Expensive ; Plasticky speaker cabinets

They’re joined by optical digital and analogue audio inputs, an Ethernet port and an aerial input for the FM radio. The speaker connections are colour-coded plugs, with special double plugs for the front cables that feed the main speaker and top driver...

Samsung HT-F9750W review

All-in-one systems are called all-in-one systems because you get everything in one box. Having lugged Samsung's new HT-F9750W package around, I'd be happy if they split its contents across a pair of boxes and called it an all-in-two. There's a lot here.

Rich, warm, big performance; appealing user interface; packed with additional features; 'wireless' rears; great design

Costs more than similarly-specced rivals; DTS Neo: Fusion won't suit everyone; hassle to assemble; auto EQ didn't like my room

Sub is a bit lacking ; Vocals sometimes get swamped with music ; Pricey

Samsung Series 9 (HT-F9750W) home theatre

This $1499 home theatre in a box is powerful, compact and versatile

Good surround effect ; Versatile front speaker design ; Powerful Smart Hub features

Missing mid-range power ; Plasticky build quality

Samsung’s top home theatre system is, for the asking price, a huge step up from the speakers inside your TV. It’s great for surround-sound Blu-rays, and the Smart Hub can liven up an otherwise dumb television. You’ll get better sound from a proper home...

Great sound and picture

This system sounds and looks stunning. You can easily upset your neighbours. Bass is clear and you can hear everything with no destorting and a really pure sound. Expensive but worth it if you want things to sound correct. Take your time to set up...

i already posted a review a few weeks back and it's not been placed on here, so here's another, more critical review. Had a whole hour one morning of the left front speaker dropping in volume and a helicopter like noise coming out of it, restarted many...
