Ease of set up /low noise when running. Easy to record programs and to watch bbc / itv I player but 4od and others are in the apps for some strange reason .

It takes a few button presses to watch a recording ,don't buy this to surf the net,

HD Image quality is great; even normal definition is good on most channels. Recorded programmes start at the beginning of teh actual programme, i.e. without adverts/trailers beforehand (unlike Sky!). The box itself looks great - very sleek design.

Schedule manager not quite as slick as Sky's, but not bad at all.

Fairly easy to set up

Works well after initial problems with activating the Apps. Convenient to have everything in one box. The only media player we could find which offered access to Lovefilm instant.

Not easy or intuitive to navigate. Handset takes some getting used to as the control buttons are not where you'd expect them to be and the biggest buttons aren't necessarily the most used!

Good, simple design and excellent picture quality.

The user interface is clunky, ugly icon based and fiddly to use. An option to use text would be an improvement. No button to fast forward a set time (to avoid the ads) like on Panasonic recorders.
