Okay, for limited purposes

Cheap. Motion detection with upload to server works as advertised

Cannot handle very bright or dark situations. If you want to use it outside, forget it. When it's sunny it's washed out, when it's dark you can't see anything. Not a true MJPEG stream; need ActiveX and IE to view stream in webbrowser (otherwise you can...

I See You

I bought two more, they are working fine.

Really good image. I can see my two cats up on my kitchen counter! (Bad Cats!!!)Easy setup if you are tech savvy on networking. I can view the camera on my laptop when i'm out of town. Great Camera for the price

No Night vision

Great IP Cam for great price

Easy to setup, does the job to live view my cute husky. For those of you who's having problem setup live view, here is what I got from Tech support from e-mail. IP: Use your real IP, Gateway: Use your real Gateway, DNS: Use router default gateway. It...

No iphone or blackberry support, due to the lack of activeX, but it's the Microsoft monopoly's fault

Zonet camera

I expect to find a work around for this as it appears to be the same as alot of other chinese cameras flooding the market. Just have to wait for another importer to come up with a new firmware that works. As for Zonet they should be deported to the...

The NewEgg expierience. As always it was great. And the price was good too ; Camera looks good, easy mounting system. Images qaulity is good for price

Zonets total lack of support. I will not buy any Zonet products in the future ; The camera does not do regular mjpeg video. It requires a active x app to view video ; Doesnt work with the Chrome browser ; I am unable to view from outside the lan. I can...

Decent Camera when on sale

It works!

Cheap when on blowout sale from newegg, relatively easy to setup if you have some experience, decent image quality, pretty good low light image

No Audio, doesn't come with night vision ability, however if you read before you buy this would not be news ; Stand/hardware mechanism is not that great, a bit bulky, can not zoom in and out at least from what I can tell thus far

No Support

I gave the camera only one star because when I contacted support they told me to return the camera. Where is the firmware upgrade to fix these problems? If they make a camera that doesn't work and have no plans on supporting it why do they sell it?

Good picture quality and low light capability similar to the D-Link DCS 920. Solid focusing ring. Three activity lights for wireless, lan and power. You can record from your browser without the monitoring software installed

You can change the camera settings, brightness etc but they don't work. You can change the port numbers but the camera won't work with the new port numbers

Decent IP Camera

I purchased 3 of these cameras while they were on sale for half off. This camera has received several one-star reviews that are unjustified. The one-star ratings are written by folks don't know how to set up a wireless network and/or didn't bother to...

Windows only - requires ActiveX plugin to view video ; Video only - does not support audio

Paperweight

Camera focus is manual, camera stand isn't stable unless mounted into a wall. Save your money and buy a real Internet Camera.

None that I can see

You get what you pay for and in this case the price is low and the quality is lower. I don't see this camera can be called a Internet camera. Can be accessed only on local. I'm behind a Netgear WGR614 router and it uses the same port for the admin...

Leaves Something to be Desired

I was hoping I could watch my plants at work and make some stop motion animations and play evil tricks on pets .

Ethernet cable included

I cannot for the life of me get the Linksys WRT54G to communicate with this device. The Zonet manual says that the default IP is 192.168.2.3, which doesn't make a lot of sense if your router is set up with a different base. DHCP clients table does not...

Awesome camera!! Worth every penny

This camera is fantastic!!! Rolled the dice and picked it up with from Newegg while it was half off. Felt it would be the perfect fit to allow my family to watch the kids grow up from outside the home. Boy was I right. Newegg had the fantastic fast...

Definitely need some understanding of networking to get this set up right. Unfortunately you have to download and install an ActiveX applet on the computer you attempt to view from. If you're wanting to be able to monitor your home from work and your...
