Panasonic BB-HCM311

Panasonic has improved its already impressive recipe for small IP cameras.

For the price Panasonic is offering an excellent deal as the BB-HCM311 delivers excellent image quality while the higher frame rate makes for much smoother viewing. Full motion detection and two-way audio capabilities combined with a wealth of trigger...

Great security cam

Got this for home after getting the Panny C-140 for work, and it's great. It will e-mail you an alert that motion has been detected and you can set times that it works. Have to get POE injector (got mine at Newegg for cheap) so it's significantly more...

Cost; ease of set-up; motion detection; sound; good home security system; POE industry-standard

On-screen instructions hard to understand (but fine with manual); self-seal necessary for outdoor use. Must use IE to get sound (ActiveX needed)

Work fine

Would like if it was wireless with battery backup.

Nice camera and features. Ok software

Picture is not as good as I would have liked. Response time seemed a little slow

A great network cam!

This camera has been flawless.

Software set itself up for local lan access with one click, set itself up wit the router for internet access with one click, HOW SIMPLE IS THAT! Video is great using a PC on the Lan with the cam, slower but good via internet. Audio is great either way....

None. Digital zoom is what it is, don't complain about it when it shows in the specs it doesn't come with a zooming lens. Pay for an upper camera if this matters to you

Panasonic BB-HCM311A 640 x 480 MAX Resolution RJ45 Network Camera with 2-Way Audio

Overall I'vm pleased with this camera.

Nice appearance and good construction quality. Easy to set up and operate. Good picture and fair low light response which is better than the Axis 207. Good audio quality

The motion capture is full screen as there are no user selectable capture windows like the Axis 207W I own. Wishing for a software upgrade which includes this ability

Solid camera

Overall, this is a *great* camera for the price, and I would buy another one in a heartbeat. In order to get to the camera the first time, you must have a network that can find 192.168.0.253, as that is the IP address of the camera. You can use the...

640x480@30fps (over LAN, anyway), good picture quality, power over Ethernet, motion sensor, built-in microphone/speaker connection for two-way audio, SD card slot, integration with alarm system, pretty good web UI, really inexpensive camera for this...

Does not come set up to use DHCP by default, does not support non-Windows OS for viewing of live video (requires ActiveX control), no batch download of picture or video

Good Value and Performanc

I paired this with an existing Linksys 54G wireless bridge and it works flawlessly. In this price range, there simply is no equal to this camera. I tried for years to get a cheaper CMOS network camera for $100 to $250 (Linksys and D-Link come to mind)...

Excellent Color Night Mode ; Fast Response ; Many Options for Saving Captures

Digital Zoom Hard to Figure Out

Happy Customer

Good Quality for the Price. I have this camera setup in my Garage coupled with a motion light, and Im very happy with it. I couldnt believe how good the quality was when I plugged it in. Software that comes with Camera is very easy to use. You can...

Web client on Camera can be very difficult to setup. If you dont know how to configure FTP,SMTP, and advanced setings on your Router, then I would recommend just sticking with the provided software

Perfect!

Worth every penny. And the digital zoom is not all that bad.

Great picture quality inside your network and about 90% of that outside your network. The frame rate is great even at the highest resolution. Built in web software gives all the control you could ask for

The only thing I could want is a temporary guest account that lasts for a certain period of time
