unreliable system

 

Dose not connect to a computer monitor so to set it up you need a TV set (with audio input). The cameras are of very poor quality. After less than 6 months had to ship it back for repair - on my expense. Got back a different unit (same model). 6 months...

cheap ; easy to set-up

Wouldn't buy again.

 

I would spend a little more as now I have just purchased another camera for the one that died, and now I have to worry about the other 3.

Dvr is somewhat easy to program. 500 gb hard drive

1 of the cameras have died after 1 month ; Motion capture picks up the static as motion every morning and dusk as the camera switches from normal to infrared

Best Company in the World

 

If you need a surveillance system and you are worried about being on your own or if it is worth the money don't give it a second thought buy a Night Owl system.

Great night vision, can't beat the price, and the BEST technical support. I was having problems setting the networking through my phone and they fixed the problem and had it up and running in no time. Plus their support is 24-7 Go Night Owl!! :)

None, I could not figure out the networking but their support had it up and going in no time

Not Bad

 

Overall a great system for the price.

Affordable, easy to set up. Not hard to use

The OCX for Internet Explorer is unsigned, so you have to set internet explorer to prompt for unsigned or else you wont be able to view the video

Excellent camera system

 

The benefits of this camera system far outweigh the few disadvantages. I am extremely impressed with the performance of the system and the support I received when I called tech support.
