Great Camera 2+ Years, 0 Problems

 

I recommend this camera. It is also adjustable so that it can be hung off of the top of a flat-screen monitor, or as a stand alone camera. XP-SP3 and Win7 recognized the camera with no problems whatsoever.

I don't care for WIN8 because it's a resource hog, but related to this camera, I don't know if it will operate under WIN8. I use either XP, WIN7, or Linux. I will not upgrade to bloatware. I like my systems to run my apps and games, not waste resources...

choppy video

 

If it were possible to adjust camera settings, that would be great, and I'm sure it would fix the problems I'm talking about. However, even then, the user would have to set up their own lighting to make up for the lack of auto-adjust.

Still images are decent. What's nice is the way it adjusts itself with room lighting so the picture comes in clear.

Video is choppy. Almost completely unusable. The problem is, when the camera auto-adjusts for lighting, the video slows down. I'm going to guess the little processor inside isn't strong enough to handle both video and picture quality at the same time,...

Ok for the price

 

Ok for the price but if you're looking for a webcam for periodic web chatting then look elsewhere.

Its a good picture taking webcam

I've used this webcam with all three major OS platforms and during use, it would slowly degrade in quality. The camera becomes unusable and very choppy after about 5 minutes of use

Good for its price and my use, which is an occasional video chat or troll on the internet. Microphone is good quality

Kind of grainy ; This is just a slight con, but it leans slightly to the right and is rather annoying to see me tilted

Low FPS

 

The picture quality is fine, but after trying it out in skype, msn, etc, the fps is very unsuitable for video chat. My mistake going for a cheaper cam, I wouldn't recommend it.

Good quality picture even in poor lighting, fair sound quality.

Very low FPS in web chat.
