Good Option

PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom), Face Tracking is good, microphone can pick up all voices in a 16x20 room so it has worked well for our conference room, picture quality is good, software controls for PTZ are decent

Software/bloatware - logitech cams always have lots of bloatware & updates and I knocked them down a start for this. It's also a bit tricky to setup the extension for the camera, not difficult, just a bit more tedious than I'd like

Good Webcam, tricky sofeware

Logitech can also work on their webcam software features. I mean for a 100 dollar webcam, the included software is just lame. My GF's laptop built-in camera have more features! Add more fun filters and etc!!! Overall, it is a good webcam. Very nice...

it is one of the best designed webcams out in the market. I have had it for 3.5 years now. I mainly used it for video chatting through msn. It did its job well. I used it in windows xp, visa and windows 7. Still works like a champ today. To summarize it...

The major let down here is driver, customer service and software. I had difficulty to get it work well with Windows 7 64bit Professional first. Whenever I took a MSN video call, my system go to BSOD. Turns out it was caused by the webcam driver. I felt...

Great even at full price

Solid camera, actually my first and last web cam the extender for the camera lens is also a great add in. Never had any issues I can remember ( had it for years) and its a solid buy. I highly recommend.

Face tracking is good ; Movement detection is a good feature ; Endless possibilities with focus and other settings ; Can be controlled with the mouse

Face tracking is only good... And thats some of the time

all sorts of bugs

can't capture video. software very quirky with windows 7 64bit

excellent image quality ; looks great

horribly auto tracking. detects random objects ; super sensitive. move it slightly and it disconnects ; vid capture freezes every single time ; expensive

Great webcam

Would buy again for sure. The software is windows 7 compatible now so the older reviews are now incorrect.

Great resolution and easy install. Stand is very stable even with the extension stand in. The camera follows very well side to side. Works great if you have a corner desk with a lot of space

Camera doesn't follow very well up and down. Does side to side very well but up and down will lose you and you have to put your face back in view again to have it follow. Not a big deal at all as most of the time your not moving up and down

Good

There are drivers for Windows 7. I use this with W7 x64 version - no problems.

Great pircture quality. Easy pan/tilt adjustments. Built-in mic

When you use the mounting rod, the camera would go offline even with a slight shake or vibration of table. Software comes with "bloatware". Must be careful just to install what you need

Too S-L-O-W

I selected the C910 instead. Faster, better resolution, newer model, same price.

Attractive, Versatile, Portable, Good Specs

Way too s-l-o-w! Video hangs up, freezes, takes way too long to refresh. Forget about following motion. You won't have the patience

Works great, Windows and Linux

Works under Windows XP, Vista, 7. Also under Linux. Skype for linux feels snappier and more responsive, with equal picture quality. Pan/Tilt does not work under linux, but who cares! You can not use that feature comfortably anyway.

Excellent cam with amazing lens and picture quality. One of my friends said I restored his interest in video conferencing after seeing the quality of the picture my cam transmitted to him

Pan and Tilt controls are cumbersome, so almost never used. Tracking software looses subjects fairly consistently, so the feature is also never used

Cool Cam

Highest tech cam I've owned. It has some really fun features and the picture quality is top notch. The tracking feature requires optimum and consitent conditions for smooth operation.

Great camera

I was psyched when I saw the price drop. They are probably coming out with a new orbit model, but thing thing rocks. I skype video conference daily for work and had been using the camera on my laptop (MacBookPro). My co-workers all commented on how...
