Earlier this year, Dropcam, which has made a name for itself for providing an easy-to-set-up video-monitoring camera and service, released its new video-monitoring camera, the Dropcam HD .
The Dropcam HD WiFi is a Wi-Fi-enabled high-resolution Webcam with two-way sound capabilities. It offers easy setup and flexible mounting options, and you can view a remote video feed over the Internet or on your iOS or Android mobile device via free...
You can't tilt or swivel the camera remotely (the lens is fixed) and you may experience some lag with the video and audio, depending on the speed of your Internet service. The need for AC power precludes true wireless operation. Also, there's no native...
The wireless Dropcam HD Wi-Fi is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a light-duty Web-enabled remote security camera that emphasizes quick and easy setup.

I have 4 cameras (pro) running. Absolutely love the easy setup etc. The issue is the dropcam website. It's easy to use...when it works. Tons of server errors, terribly slow to load and I'm on 75/75 Fios. Cameras do mysteriously drop offline from time...
Easy to setup and view on computer or iphone
Their website is very slow 70% of the time. Tons of server errors

Wonderful product form a customer oriented company.
Easy setup, great video quality and customer support! I use them for monitoring our home when we travel and it does a great job. The ability to have it snap a picture when sensing sound and/or motion is great. I have 3 cameras in the house.
The DVR service is not cheap but I do not use it.

Dropcam may work for you, but a better solution for most is to use the Web Enabled Remote Monitoring Service (werms.com) with any of many more fairly priced cameras.
Works well for some.
Dropcam is a closed system designed to lock you in at a premium price.

I did a ton of research on both a security camera and baby monitor system and this was by far the best option based on price, ease of use, cloud service, app support, expandability, quality, and overall reliability.
Easy & quick set-up (1 time computer set-up required). Great price. Good quality. Cloud DVR option rocks (worth extra $$).
Works better with faster WIFI. This is more of a WIFI provider issue, not Dropcam, but if you have a slow WIFI package you may see some video lag.
