Not user freindly

 

Good resolution, reasonable low light quality

Poor software, completely useless as a security camera, randomly stops operating without notice, tends to be non operational for days before we notice, internet explorer is the only web interface, for an average user this was difficult to operate and...

D-Link Can Do Better

 

Very good low-light performance w/out infrared technology, although pixelation is a frequent occurance during recording in low-light situations.

IE 6 is needed to open control panel (sorry Firefox ppl).

Great video quality, much better than the 900.

The video locks up and needs unplugged about once a day or so.

I own the DCS-900 and am about to order the DCS-950 based on my satisfaction with the DCS-900. In my opinion, these network cameras perform adequately for the price and the fact that they come equipped with CMOS lenses, rather than the better CCD...
