Mediocre

Images are good when viewing close range but long range viewing is no good if you are trying to see details. As a surveillance camera it is not very good. I guess you get what you pay for. I had no problem setting up multiple cameras (3) and viewing...

Excellent Deal!

After much internet searching, I decided on this webcam because I was looking for wireless portability and low price. This has both! The picture is not the best but not bad for the price. Zoom is useless but I don't need it. Still have to have a plug...

Great Cameras

I started with 2 of these for my business, and I have purchased 2 more. These are great for security, they look good and produce very high quality pictures and video.

Satisfied with D-link DCS-920

Hi,I found this product to be reasonably good. Once it was set up it has been working very well. It did take a while to find the correct settings for it to work with my router. The focusing mechanism could be better.

Disappointed

I expected more from DLink. Their router that I own is one of the best I've worked with outside of commercial grade equipment.

Pretty much plug & play

Image is worse than most built-in cellphone cameras. Wireless is unreliable. Mount leaves some to be desired. No way of streaming raw video to the web (using java/activex/etc). Don't waste your time if you think you're going to stream raw video to your...

As everyone says....

Seems to be related to a bandwith issue, after uploading snapshots to my FTP server, it hangs. Also, while making changes via the web interface it hangs.

Low price, nice looking

Constantly locks. Corruption appears in web interface.

Great cam

The only problem I have is the D-view software, minus one egg for bad software.

Great camera, easy instructions, great wireless range, good picture quality and sturdy mouthing hardware. I use it to monitor my kennel where my puppy stays during the day while I am not home.

Terrible D-view software. Does not work on vista-64, only could get it to install on xp-32 and even then it would not work correctly, the newest version** 3. something. No sound*

Overall Great Value!

A great value for a non- P.T.Z.-I.P. camera.

Easy to configure most of its features in minutes.

Somewhat Tricky initial setup if you don't follow directions, use Ethernet cable to configure settings and then setup wireless afterwards. use a free dynamic dns service to manage remotely. don't forget you may need to setup firewall, router to accept...

Great Camera for the money

If you are serious about home surveillance. Check out Blue Iris. Very affordable and rock solid stability for home surveillance.

Great Hardware.

Software is terrible.
