If you're a Mac user, the iSight is the only webcam you should be considering. It's expensive, but in terms of quality and ease-of-use it's a clear winner.

Built-in noise suppression microphone, slick alloy casing, image quality, autofocus, mounting options

Full functionality only possible with iChat AV, not compatible with Windows systems, expensive, image settings not adjustable

The Apple iSight is hands down one of the best Webcams we've seen. Its sleek style, great image quality, sensitive microphone, and flawless integration make it the perfect complement for users of iChat and iMovie, but not for users of other messaging...

Image settings such as focus, color, brightness, and contrast aren't adjustable; doesn't work with all instant-messaging applications; pricey.

With great image quality and integration, the Apple iSight is the best choice for Mac owners who use iChat, but it isn't ideal for users of other messaging clients.

"Poor focus quality"

Looks nice, and the sound quality is good

This is my second iSight. I returned the first for poor focus quality (fuzzy edges). I was disappointed again when I tried another one. Better than the first, but still not a crisp image
