no idea if this works or not? But definitely leak issues - ended up getting some magnetic balls from Lakeland instead which you put inside the drum. In the washing machine seem to add mechanical action so seem to have less marks on my kids clothes....

Purchased wpro, thought it would be a great investment, however after attempting to fit it i noticed a leak. tried several attempts to fit it, however failed, so if i was a dragon in the den, what would i say "i won't be investing and i'm out"...

If it works it will be a great investment, I don't know why there's a problem with leaks, if fitted right there are none !

We purchased this product and was informed by the engineer after it had been fitted that it has a tendancy to leak and needs to be checked regularily. Won't be bothering with it in future.

These things are about as much use as wearing a copper bracelet to get rid of arthritis or eating garlic to ward off vampires. Calcium ions in hard water can only be removes by chemical means, so dont waste your money

I had very similar problems with the fitting of this item listed above - leaked, difficult to remove. Haven't refitted it yet and doubt I will. More money wasted

Bought 2 of these at £29.99, figured they couldn't hurt, see they are now half price (2 weeks later) typical!

Couldn't be fitted by comet fitter, and squirted water up kitchen wall but apparently I need to take it back for refund. Complete waste of time and so far money.
