I am happy with my Cabrio

 

I bought my Cabrio Washer WTW6800W in May 2009, so I have had it 19 months now. I always intended to come back and review this washer since I read many reviews before making the purchase.

Bad Buy

 

This was an expensive mistake - it doesn't last - broke after 2 years - needed new transmission for $350 if you were willing to wait for 2 months for backordered parts.

Looks cool; supposed to be gentler on clothes

Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6800W Top Loader

 

When our Kenmore washer transmission gave up the ghost two years ago we decide to purchase a new Cabrio washer and matching dryer based on test results and reviews from consumers. Whirpool boasts that the Cabrio uses less water and is energy efficient....

Whirpool makes excellent appliances and I think this is just an isolated incident
