Made to rust

Some things are made to last, this machine was designed to rust. disappointing that a machine that washes well, with good features and energy efficient could be so poorly planned that it leaks water in small amounts constantly from the detergent tray....

Don't buy - waste of money

Brought this product in 2008 after our 10+ years top loader failed on me (since fixed by husband and still in use for his mechanic's uniforms and pet bedding!). This Whirlpool machine started having problems about 1 year after initial purchase. No...

Constant faults, poor technical service by Whirlpool to regional town, very noisy spin cycle.

don't buy

Don't waste your money. My mother and father wash twice a week and got 3 years out of their washing machine before the motor blew up and it was going to cost the price of a new machine to get a new motor. Stick to Asko or Miele is my preference

Didn't last very long

Glad it has blown up!!!

This washing machine has been a complete waste of money, claims to have 'quick washes' but you can only was 2 or 3 kgs if you want under an hour. Any less them 145 minutes for say 4 towels & they will come out with dry patches! Every load needs a...

Being a front loader I could use the top as bench space

Worst washing machine ever made.

Bucket of junk

Biggest bucket of junk on the face of the planet! We purchased ours, and the buttons didn't work on the front panel (spin speed, delay etc) only the dial worked. The 1 page "instruction manual" is a waste of a tree branch. After calling Whirlpool...

Good on the water, fairly dry after spin.

Unreliable, must have hot water, and sounds like a rocket ship.

Terrible

Should not be able to call these washing machines, the are white boxes that sit in your laundry and go rusty while you wash your clothes somewhere else. Whirlpool probably were good 40 years ago but now complete junk if you get 12 months youve won the...

None would make a good bollard

Avoid at all costs, dont buy a whirlpool, if someone tries to give you one for free dont take it, they are rubbish, plus the customer service is rubbish. The biggest piece of junk made by mankind should be in a museum somewhere. PLEASE AVOID

Terrible

Done bother, pay a little extra money and get something else really!!! Its not worth the money and the technical support (phipps) is crap!!!!

I have two boys under 2 so do alot of washing. The cycle times are just stupid and you have to make sure you put the right weight of clothes in on different wash cycles. Does not get any of my baby or mine for that matter clean I have photographic...

OK

As most house holds use cold water for washing clothes I would have expected the machine to be set for that function, not so this model. You have to purchase a YPiece part to use for cold water wash. This info. should be in large letters so it can be...

My old ( had it 12 years and was 2nd hand) top loader died at Christmas. A good selling point for this machine was the Qld Gov. Dept of Environment an Climate change $200 cash back which I am still to receive . Also the sales discounted $50. and the...

I could not use on setup due to a part called a YPiece for cold water washing, which was not included with the machine. I had to go to the city 120 klms one way to purchase the part which cost $32. I was not informed at the time of purchase of the...

Good

I am still happy with the machine, despite feeling a little duped by being led to believe that the quick wash option would wash 7.5kg. This is a machine worth considering. Having only owned it for less than a month, I do not know just how much it will...

I purchased this product as it was the most affordable environmentally friendly family size washer at the time. With a 4.5 star wells rating, the washer currently attracts a $150 cashback from the NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change- which...

Quick options are limited to 3kg or less. The functions other than the 'quick' options take what seems like forever (ask to see the quick reference sheet that comes with the machine as it outlines the approx duration and max capacity of each function).

Excellent

We have decided on this machine after long consideration. There are so many machines to choose from. The unit was easy to install, has a range of great features, large enough to take a busy households full load of washing. The quick wash option os...

Quite, thorough washing, great water and energy consumption rating, fantastic price
