This machine has certainly lifted the bar .

This washer has been doing every thing expected of it for 13 years perfectly with out any hick ups at all. The only problem we have is that the front cabinet panel is rusting . If a replace ment panel is available i will renovate rather than replace...

Awesome Machine lasted 13 years. Never had a service.

This machine has been awesome! Yes indeed a real workhorse. I have had it for 13 years and never needed a service. For most of its life it has been working for 4 adults. For a period of time it was constantly doing loads of towels from a massage...

Great buy, no repairs in 10 years

Yes it has rusted a little, but in 10 years of solid use has never had any issue until the last month. Weighing up if it is worth repairing or just buying a new one, I wish i could still buy the same model.

Work Horse and lasted till it's golden age.

en have any use out of, and don't want to spend another $400+ to have it repaired further. Funny how the 1st repairman knew the timing sensor would go soon, a bit too soon for my liking (very suspicious) ..... and I won't go back to them to have any...

Washed well, User Friendly.

I hope the expensive ones last as long as this??

ost me a bit, to a lot more than we paid for our Whirlpool, I just hope they last as long, cosmetics is nice, however functioning is most important, if it don't work its just a pretty piece off garbage and unnoticed in a big tip!!

Just worked well and service free for so long!!

Rust in front panel and plastics going yellow, but only after the 9+ year mark

Lasted 9 years with one repair

We are upgrading from this machine to an Asko, but wanted to put my two pennies in when I saw our current one had a poor rating. We've found it to be an absolute workhorse - it managed a family with two young children plus washing towels for our...

Reliable, good value

Timer went after 7 years (not too bad really!), Spin cycle on wash not fabulous now (after 9 years), but okay.

Rusted and leaked from top down.

Poor durability. Plastic front cracked for no reason. Rusted from early on on inside from the top down. Now bottom all rusted and leaks too! Bought it after reading Choice as recommended unit but it did not last. This is a limitation of choice testing....

Washes ok.

Very Noisy. Not durable, plastic parts cracked on their own. Rusted in the front from the top down

Costly, poor finish, good while it ran, poor advice from Choice, don't buy 2nd hand !

ow, but that's not Whirlpool's fault, it's a normal front-loader thing. Besides, has a 'Rapid' cycle, that is designed to do a half-size, lightly soiled load in about 30 minutes, which is a great. It does a good job on delicates/wools that I'd...

Washes well, spins hard.

Rust, rubbish plastics, poor longevity.
