My Simpson frontloader was delivered today. First load of sheets took over 3 hours cut the cycle b into spin. 2nd load on delicate it walked it's way out of cupboard & fell face down on floor spilling litres of water. It sounds like a jackhammer on...
It was cheap and Australian made
Walks on spin. Fell on face on spin leaking water & so so so slow!

To its credit, this machine was affordable (circa $600) and has performed consistently for 5 years. Its small capacity means you can't stuff too much in, otherwise the soap won't dissolve and it won't wash properly. If you wash at 30 degrees, it takes...
Looks okay, easy to empty the fluff filter, reasonably quiet.
Didn't last anywhere near long enough. Cheap plastic hose connectors on rear were difficult to tighten. Annoying child delay.

First time I used it could not believe it. I thought timer or whatever was broken. Certainly doesn't save electricity. Try to do the right thing and buy front loader. Never occurred to me to check washing times. Simpson should be absolutely embarrassed...
Ridiculously long wash cycle. An hour and 20 mins to do one load. And that's on as short a cycle as possible. Clothes definitely not as clean as top loader.

It was recommended to me to buy a front loader if all front loaders take so long to do a wash I think I'll go back to a top loader.
Takes a rediculously long time to do a wash. Now after only 3 years something has gone wrong with the spin cycle, it won't spin and leaves all the clothes sopping wet. This is my second Simpson washing machine..never again.

The door is starting to play up sometimes it doesnt click in properly and the cycle cant start sometimes i have to hold it in place until the machine starts the sensor thinks it isnt secure but it is
