Reliable family workhorse

I don't even remember exactly when we bought our NEC washer but it has been at least 7 years now and it's still going strong. Our family has always preferred top-loaders due to our negative experiences with front loaders and their leaky seals and...

-reliable -cheap -clean results, even with cold washes -satisfactory water/electricity efficiency for cold washes -waltzing matilda tune plays when you turn it on!

-lint traps failed after 6/7 years and new parts are unavailable for this particular model -quite noisy -plastic cover for control panel has peeled off

OK

I would still use it until it run out of life. Would recomanded front loader although it is time consuming to washing load. But it used up less water & electricity.

No agitator, can wash blanket, single or double bed quilts, jeans, large towel. 5 level of spin speed, can spin very very dry. 4 rinses to choose.

Use lots of water & electricity. Lint filter require to clean regularly, if not, cloths get lint on it after spin dry. Specially with pants & trousers, when turn it inside out, you will see lint attached on the fabric.
