WOULDN'T HAVE ANOTHER ONE

This is the worst machine I've ever owned. It has rusted under the washing powder draw this rust runs right along the front where the panels meet and stops just under the Start button. Rust also in where the door is supposed to seal and water has run...

So glad we got the extended warranty

It washes well...........when it's not broken down. It had a panel rust in less than 6 months and was replaced under warranty, it's had a new control panel, a door seal, now (luckily for us) with 3 months left on the extended warranty the pump has...

The best washing machine!

We purchased our Maytag MAF7512AAW back in 2009 from the Good Guys in Cairns. My Family has three members. My wife, I and our five year old son. We originally purchased this model after our initial purchase of a $600.00 Samsung. The pump on the Samsung...

Super Reliable

No "beep" to let you know that the cycle has completed

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Do your homework

Purchased April 09 noticed that after approx six months the door seal developed mould which is very difficult to remove.. Then just recently after a washing cycle a small part of the seal broke off into the washing and caused the machine to leak into...

Initially we purchased Maytag because of its reputation and reliability for industrial washers

Faulty door seals moudl builds up regardless of cleanijng with bleach

Would never buy again

Horrible machine and bad aftersales service. Machine still leaks after trying numerous different things advised by 'customer service centre' (ie use less detergent, cut back amount of water going in to machine and adjusting the tilt of machine so it...

Looks nice and is easy to use

Terrible

I'm with you dlawson12 this machine is a dud. Thought Maytag would be a good brand after owning a Kleenmaid but boy was I wrong. I took extended warranty on top of the price and wish I hadn't - can't wait for it blow up so I can get a new machine.

Um - Um - Um - not sure there are any - Oh yes it uses less water than my old machine. Controls easy to use and it looks great and takes up less space than the top loaders.

takes to long to do a decent wash My whites have never looked greyer. If wash blacks on hr cycle they come out with powder on them even after using 1/2 the recommended dose. just got washed socks out and still had grass on them after an hour cycle.

Good

I really like this machine. I find it relatively quiet and very efficient, the clothes come out nearly dry. I find the capacity is more than sufficient for 2 people. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Mine is two years old and have never had a...

Easy to use, washes well. Love the choice of cycles and the delay start is a god-send.

My long hair seems to congregate in the crease of the rubber seal, better there than on my clothes though. Short cycles and powder detergent sometimes leave white marks on the washing.

Terrible

I hate this machine. I have had it for 2 years and it has just started stopping and throwing errors. it has been a dud from day one and has finally packed it in altogether. We bought a Maytag because we thought it would be a good machine retailing at...

Sometimes washes clothes if you put it on the longest cycle...

* The timer lies, cycles take approximetely 1.5 times what the dial says, ie a 2 hour wash takes 3 hours * No coldwash capability, the lowest it will go is 20 degrees, which uses my hotwater and thus my lpg runs out a lot quicker than before I got this...

Good

Overall a good machine, which washes well. The salesperson gave us a good tip to only use about half the recommended detergent to stop excessive sudsing. Found it best to use a favourite setting to reduce the spin speed and add an extra rinse to the...

Good choice of washing cycles, including everyday wash cycle which takes 1 hour. Reasonable load capacity. Like being able to control the wash cycle options.

Would like a chime to signal end of wash. Prone to vibrations through the side panels when starting a spin cycle, despite being perfectly level (and didn't that take some doing). Towels don't seem to come out as soft as previous toploader, and capacity...
