Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
Replaced both pumps at about 7 years, genuine units on eBay for under $100, very easy to fit for a handyman/woman. Only now are the motor bearings becoming noisy, sounds like a jet! Downside, very slow if you want it to dry cloths.

wish i could give this 0 stars it is so bad. It has drained the life out of me.. I have gone through 7 years of torture and finally decided to dispose of it after spending hours and hours fighting it.……………… I don't even want to put it on the front...

We bought the combo machine about 8 years ago as we had limited space. Just prior to the expiry of the extended warranty, the machine needed a health check. The technician frankly stated, I wouldnt get another 6 months from it..... He was was wrong. It...

Dryer function unable to dry effectively a 4 kg load, as advertised.
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
I have owned the WD-1438RD for about 5 years and I have to say it is the worst washing machine I have ever used. Mine is reliable - it has never broken down (touch wood). It has never damaged my clothes or other items. However the cycles take an...
Reliable, does not damage clothes
Everything else, diabolically complex user interface, drier doesn't work
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
We bought it a few years ago and enjoyed it at the beginning. However, we have a bad experience now. The machine has the spin problem and it does not work at all. Because it just went out the warranty, have to find local technician to fix it as higher...
Spin function out off work.
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
Paid a lot of money for this washer dryer combo and had nothing but trouble since day 1. Had to be repaired during warranty (first 12 months) and had trouble ever since. Spin cycle got very noisy and sounded like a plane taking off in our house. Never...

I would not recommend it to anyone at all. It doesnt take more than fifty words to describe it. It is a heap of junk. I do not know what else I can say. It is too noisy and sounds like a tractor in the house. etc etc etc etc

Had this a few years now and have contemplated replacing it for a while. First of all, the good: It washes my clothes, it hasnt damaged anything The Bad: The dryer takes forever and a day to complete (its so bad a I bought a tumble dryer as well) The...
Slow, Terrible Dryer
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
Can someone please advise how to dry clothes in this machine? Washing ok - but I cannot get it to dry either on it's own cycle or after the wash cycle has completed. I am not very excited by the reviews I have already read however I would appreciate it...
Washes clothes.
Doesn't dry clothes like it is supposed to. Controls are hard to figure out.
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
Broke down 4 times during warranty, mercifully. Alas, another 4 times after that, at around $300 a throw. This is for a machine that just does one person's washing. Lord knows how a family with small kids would go. When actually working it was very...
Great on the occasions it was actually working. Apart from the industrial noise. And electricity bills.
VERY expensive to repeatedly repair. Extremely difficult for me to take time off work. for endless repairs.
