Pissed off consumer

Cons: We purchased in Feb/2006. It is now Jan/2012. We had 3 service calls, the last one we were told the repairs would run over a $1000.00 dollars. They offered a new one at $800.00 or more. I don't think so. Why would you keep giving GE good money...

Being More Efficient Comes With Some Changed Habits - GE Front Load Washer WBVH520053WW

Moving from Missouri to Tennessee, I was lucky enough to purchase our new house, before we sold the old one. That meant, that finding a foreclosure that was short on appliances was not a big deal because I could simply take my appliances with me. ...

A great disappointment -- Do not waste your money on this!

We have a well and a septic system, and purchased this washer to conserve water. I love to do laundry, but I absolutely HATE this washer. GE's failure to include information in its manual regarding the necessary periodic cleaning of the drain pump ...

Trust me when I say it's junk

I'm not often frustrated by something to seek out writing a review. But this washer is the exception! I bought mine about 1.5 years ago and was immediately unhappy. The spin cycle vibrates my entire house. Pictures have fallen from the wall in the ...

Thought this washer would be better for the kids to operate

I have had this washer for 14 months and just made my forth service call. I bought this washer from lowes each time I make a service call it takes an hour on the phone with many run arounds. After the call is complete it takes about a week for someone ...

Does not spin out clothes

OK, the washer washes the clothes very well. But chances are, they're going to come out very wet. But, you say, isn't that supposed to be the advantage of a front-loading washer? Yep, but not this one. Repairman: twice. Satisfaction: 0. He said ...

None.

Clothes will come out of the washer wet and take forever to dry.

I love my GE front-load washer/dryer

I have owned the GE front-load washer and dryer for 10 months, doing about 3 loads a week and I have not had a single problem. I read how other people have had horror stories, but mine certainly is not the case. In fact, it looks like most people ...

Quiet, efficient, very attractive, great at cleaning everything, received $225 in energy rebates

The washer door is not reversible because it contains a locking mechanism for safety.

Cleaning pump filter

Our washer stopped working correctly after a little over one year. It would pause frequently during operation and take hours to complete a single load. I did purchase the extended warranty from Lowes; unfortunately, they base the warranty on the ...

Not Worth It- Update

The stacking machines that save floor space and the water saving features are great. We are over charged for water here and that does count for something. Unfortunately the claims to save, also, on electricity and drying time because the washer spins ...
