Vax VS-19RU Swift

Suction is fantastic, it's light weight and easy to carry up stairs. Easy to empty and change filter. Worth the money!

Bit fiddly to change over to the tube.

Vax VS-19RU Swift

Powerful suction. Does its job very effectively. Light weight. Easy to empty. VERY inexpensive for the performance achieved.

Rather noisy. Very powerful exhaust points forward and tends to blow things about (curtains, for example); a diffuser of some kind would be a good idea. Cleaning internal filter effectively is not very easy, and can be rather messy.
